TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT

The boats serve as a reference to the swimmer to maintain the proper course, so he must be aware of the directions and position of the boats. (if the swimmer does not follow the boat and has a crazy stroke movement suggests that the swimmer suffers from hypothermia).

The crossing is made with 2 boats:

GUIDE BOAT

As its name suggests, it serves as an orientation for the swimmer. It provides all the necessary equipment for location and communication required by the maritime authorities, as well as a first aid kit and enough space to transport a group of people and the swimmer’s material.

SUPPORT BOAT

Zodiac type that will be at all times near the swimmer where the swimmer’s coach or caretaker can be. It will carry everything necessary during the crossing (provisioning, spare material, etc.)
